Bismuth Pendant of Unique Shape and Color has been handcrafted with minimal wire styling to highlight Bismuth's outstanding beauty. 

Bismuth is one of the first 10 metals to be discovered and has been known since ancient times. Miners in the age of alchemy gave bismuth the name tectum argenti, or "silver being made," in the sense of silver still in the process of being formed within the Earth. Heavier than lead, but without lead's toxicity, Bismuth is important medically and its uses are wide-ranging. 

We like to call Bismuth's intricate shapes and colors " little Escher sculptures" and interestingly, it is a stone of transformation and change; also known to aid loneliness.
